Voluntary service corps programmes empowers students in schools
The students are equipped with skills and knowledge to engage with the relevant school and district leadership on matters of service delivery
in the education sector. This is also intended to as to create a generation of active leaders who will champion accountable leadership and
improved service delivery in their communities beyond their schools.
The corps are also tasked with the role of monitoring service delivery especially in the education sector within their school communities
to generate evidence based information which will is used to engage with the relevant authorities in the planned dialogues.
As such, AYDL supported two annual dialogues between the corps with schools and district authorities such as head teachers, school management
committees, Chief administrative officers (CAOs), and heads of District Social Service committees on service delivery issues within schools
